Finding your purpose
Jonathan Brendan Els
Certified Life Coach
As a life coach
I am a Certified life coach, leader, husband, and family man. I obtained my training in coaching through Rhodes College in Canada (ICF acrredited). I have also been employed as a senior level Production manager and completed my Six Sigma (Black belt) professional training in manufacturing. I am a big believer in a combination of formal and informal education (real world experience), as well as a strong willing attitude. I believe most people want to do good in this world and that we have extraordinary talent within ourselves to exercise and execute this to reach our fullest potential.
In my experience, I believe that without passion and dedication, even formal education can be inferior to a willing and determined attitude. I strongly believe that the welfare of our society is directly related to the integrity and competency of the individual. We have a responsibility to our fellow humans and our planet, to be the best possible version of ourselves and affect the change we want in the world. I personally want to be better than I was yesterday. And I want to become competent at it!
I offer my clients the space to venture into the present and future. To speak freely about their dreams, aspirations and the challenges they are currently facing. I cannot solve the problems you are experiencing for you. However, I will be able to guide you in taking responsibility for them and provide an effective support structure for you to rely on your own talents and potential. You have the ability to solve most of your difficulties IF you are willing to work at it. We can do this together.

What is life coaching
A life coach is a wellness professional that assists clients in making progress in their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment. Life coaching aids individuals in improving their relationships, careers, and day-to-day lives.
Life coaching can help you clarify your goals, identify the obstacles holding you back, and then come up with strategies for overcoming each obstacle. In creating these strategies, life coaches target your unique skills and gifts. By helping you to make the most of your strengths, life coaches provide the support you need to achieve long-lasting changes and results.e.
It primarily focuses on present issues and future plans. If you are stuck, unsure, or lack the courage to take the next step in your journey, this is for you. Dedication and hard work yields results.
Unlock your potential
We all have goals we want to
reach, challenges we’re striving to overcome, ideas that need a road map and times when we feel stuck. Partnering with a professional coach can unlock your potential and set you on a path to thriving personally and professionally.
In addition, I am passionate about people and business. People are the biggest asset of ANY company. And any type of business- no matter the size- has individual requirements, systems, and processes in place within an environment where people work together.
Through my life coaching skills and over 10 years of knowledge and experience in the manufacturing field, I assist companies and/or individuals with management information to get a birds-eye view of the production and overall functionality of their businesses and people.
From our sessions together, we need to establish if we are going to be a good fit. For our sessions to reach its full potential, both the coach and client need to be comfortable and establish an agreement to proceed with coaching. Each individual is unique, therefore finding a suitable coach is a trial and error process.
My coaching style is to motivate you to take on a solid form of responsibility- for your actions, your ideologies and the consequences thereof- whether it may be negative or positive. With the right support, you can gain clarity on issues or challenges and weed out what needs to be done to help you achieve your desirable future and determined goals.
The ICF follows strict ethical guidelines that coaches, such as myself, adhere to. As a coach we focus on the maximum benefit and value of our client. The well-being and needs of my clients are therefore of the utmost importance.
I have started on my journey of taking care of my mental health, committing to learning more about myself, how I work and how I can work. It used to be something I have wanted to do for a long time, and Jonathan (the Mind Coach) has made it very easy to start & continue with these sessions. It's been about 6 weeks & after each session I can see the value it's had in my life. Even if we were to stop now, I have gained so much that I can use in my life.
Thank you Jonathan for also offering free support during these Corona times - it speaks of your passion for this work, and my experience with you has proven your dedication & competency as a Mind Coach.
